Dana Cho is the Vice President of Design at Pinterest, where she leads design across one of the world’s most beloved discovery platforms, helping over 500 million people around the globe find inspiration and bring ideas to life. With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of design, business, and technology, Dana is known for championing human-centered innovation that creates long-term value for both users and organizations.

Before joining Pinterest, Dana served as Chief Design Officer at Verily, an Alphabet company focused on transforming healthcare. There, she embedded design deeply across the company’s ecosystem—spanning software, hardware, and services—while helping evolve Verily’s product portfolio to deliver meaningful impact at scale. Prior to that, she led UX and research for Google Search, shaping experiences for over a billion users.

Dana brings deep expertise in building high-performing, mission-driven design teams and partnering with executives to drive systemic transformation. Her work has been featured in Fast Company, Core77, PSFK, and Rotman Magazine.

She serves on the advisory board for Stanford’s Center for Digital Health, the Dean’s Leadership Council for the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and Harvard’s Master in Design Engineering program. Dana is a Council Member of the Design Executive Council, previously taught at California College of the Arts and Stanford Graduate School of Business, and continues to speak at conferences on the role of design in driving innovation.
